1st Time Here?
Welcome. Let’s see if I can help you by answering a few questions new visitors usually have:
What is this blog about?
It is all about helping you get the most out of your rowing equipment. I write articles, teach workshops, and coach coaches (and athletes) about rigging and rowing equipment. Possibly there is some information here for you.
How will this site help me?
Simply, the information here is very easy to follow, even for the less technically-minded. You can apply much of it straight away to your own rowing, making it better than before. This might mean being a little faster, or a little less stressed, or save a little money, or even a little safer.
Which are your best posts?
That is hard to say, since readers here are usually unique in what they want, or what problems they have to solve. Possibly a quick search will get you where you want to go.
Do you offer services for further advice?
Yes, I often consult or do clinics on site. This page might be helpful.
Do you have a post on ________?
Perhaps! Use the search function in the sidebar to try and find a post the topic. If nothing relevant comes up, then submit a question and I possibly will write a post on it.
I’m New To Rowing! Help!
Take a deep breathe, we all start somewhere, and in essence that is what this site is really all about. I might suggest that you sign up for my quick course on rigging (on the home page, left hand corner) as a good start.
Mike,
I have your book. Very readable. Execellent. However I need to understand how to ADJUST pitch. Your book directs me to your website?
But Iv’e seen nothing specific on Stern pitch adjustment. Appreciate your help.

John:
Let me know what type of equipment you are working with. I’ve got something in the process now that might be helpful.
